Marktlink initiates The Marktlink Foundation

To participate, grow, be valuable - everyone deserves that opportunity

We want to create value for every type of entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship is one of our key values, it is at the core of everything we do. That is why we initiated the Marktlink Foundation. The foundation helps underprivileged entrepreneurs, for example newcomer immigrants in an European country or people with health conditions or impairments, to realise their dreams. With knowledge, our network and access to capital we want to support them in starting or scaling their business.

What does the foundation do?

A group of enthusiastic Marktlink colleagues assist entrepreneurs over the course of one year in taking their plan further. During face-to-face and online meetings, we give them personal coaching tailored to the needs and wishes of the entrepreneur. From concept development and getting pitch-ready, to implementing marketing strategies and scaling their businesses, whatever phase their company is in. We empower the entrepreneurs to launch, grow, fund, and sustain their own businesses. It could be as simple as helping an entrepreneur open a bank account or arrange a mobile phone contract.

The Marktlink Foundation is currently only active in the Netherlands, but we have the ambition to cross borders to be able to help dozens of European entrepreneurs every year. We plan to involve all Marktlink colleagues, but also involve part of the Marktlink network. We feel that with the Marktlink Foundation we can make a difference and give back from our sometimes privileged position.

Partnerships

We work together with several partners who put us in touch with underprivileged entrepreneurs. One of the partners we are currently working closely with is Pangea. This organisation connects us to newcomer immigrants. They strongly believe that entrepreneurs, and refugee / newcomer immigrant entrepreneurs in particular, are talented people who can enrich our economy and inspire society.
