Marktlink Investment Partners started a new fund named Welt Ventures. Welt offers individual investors access to a diversified portfolio of venture capital and growth equity funds in Europe. The fund invests in leading European tech companies and the unicorns of the future.
Welt Ventures is the venture capital branch of Marktlink Investment Partners. Venture capital invests in unlisted tech companies. Venture capital yields high returns, but it is not for everyone: the minimum investment is high, generally 10 million euros or more, and only a limited number of investors is admitted. As a consequence, individual investors are virtually excluded from private equity or venture capital funds. Until now.
With a minimum investment of 250,000 euros, Welt Ventures is more accessible to individual investors. The fund invests its investors’ assets in venture capital and private equity funds, it is, therefore, a fund investing in other funds. From hundreds of venture capital and growth equity funds, the best ‘top quartile’ funds (the top 25%) are selected.
Welt Ventures invests in promising European tech companies. The fund supports tech companies in Europe, such as Adyen, Spotify and Mollie, helping them to bridge the funding gap. Last year, a record amount of almost 100 billion euros in venture capital was invested in Europe. Important, as it helps Europe to increase its independence in the field of technology. Welt Ventures contributes to that.
Thanks to Welt Ventures, individual investors get a unique opportunity to invest in a diversified portfolio of the best venture capital and growth capital funds. The fund is an initiative of Marktlink Investment Partners and is managed by Bouke Marsman and Jaap Vriesendorp. Go to https://welt.ventures for more details and a spot on the waiting list.
